DES MOINES, IA – The Iowa Cubs will be well represented in the World Baseball classic which is set to begin tonight with the start of Pool Play. There are 18 Iowa Cubs scheduled to be a part of the tournament from 13 different countries.
The World Baseball Classic is slated to be played from March 4-17 in Miami, Houston, San Juan and Tokyo. A list of former I-Cubs in the tournament can be found below:
