2026 World Baseball Classic Features 22 Current or Former Aces

The 2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC) will be the sixth iteration of the international tournament since the inaugural tournament back in 2006. An accumulation of the best players in the world, 22 current or former Aces are featured throughout the 20 rosters this year as well as six on coaching staffs.

Here is the list of players who have been part of the BLC-Nine and will be participating in the WBC with the years they appeared in Reno listed in parentheses. Players in italics are listed as reserve options for their respective team.

Corbin Carroll was expected to be the starting right fielder for Team USA in the WBC, but he suffered a broken hamate bone in his hand forcing him to miss the tournament.

Exhibition games for each national team will begin on Tuesday, March 3 with the first pool play game happening Wednesday, March 4.
