Corbin Carroll was expected to be the starting right fielder for Team USA in the WBC, but he suffered a broken hamate bone in his hand forcing him to miss the tournament.
Exhibition games for each national team will begin on Tuesday, March 3 with the first pool play game happening Wednesday, March 4.
