Joe Gregory first joined the Norfolk Tides as the General Manager, beginning October 4, 2011. He also previously served as the Vice President of the Norfolk Admirals Hockey Club from 2008 through the 2015-16 season. Joe was promoted to team president during the 2025 season.
Gregory came to Norfolk after serving as the General Manager of the Youngstown SteelHounds of the Central Hockey League from 2006-2008. In that capacity, Gregory ran the day-to-day operations of the SteelHounds. During Gregory's tenure in Youngstown, the season ticket base increased by 70 percent and he negotiated the team's first NHL affiliation.
Gregory graduated from Youngstown State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation, Gregory worked as both the Coordinator of Tournament Operations and the Coordinator of Sales and Marketing at the Giant Eagle LPGA Classic in Vienna, Ohio. He had been working at the tournament as an operations assistant prior to that since high school. After his time with the LPGA, Gregory became the Director of Business Development for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, a Short-Season Class-A baseball team affiliated with the Cleveland Indians. There, he oversaw all sponsorship and advertising sales and cultivated community relationships.

Mike Zeman has been with the Norfolk Tides since the 2006 season. Zeman was born and raised on a farm in Humboldt, Iowa. He graduated from Iowa State University with a double major in Sports Management and Business Management. While attending Iowa State, he worked for the Triple-A Iowa Cubs for three years in the operations department. Zeman enjoys the variety of his daily work and provides a safe, fun environment for fans to enjoy Tides games.
He currently resides in Virginia Beach with his wife, Christina and their two daughters, Ava and Isla.

Mike Watkins joined the Tides in 2006. Over the course of his career, he has worked in many aspects of the business from Sales and Customer Service Intern with the Seattle Mariners to Media Relations and video board work with the Tides. He enjoys working with local, regional and national brands to craft creative corporate sponsorships that deliver results here with the Tides. He is a proud two-time graduate of Old Dominion University. In addition to servicing numerous corporate sponsorship accounts, he also enjoys working with our talented staff to plan many of the exciting promotions taking place each season, marketing for the team and the overall fan experience at the ballpark, including the video boards at Harbor Park. You will occasionally see him join the Tides promotions team to help provide on-field entertainment for all Tides fans.
In his downtime, he is active in the fight against ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, particularly with the Team Gleason Foundation. In addition to his interest in finding a cure for ALS, Mike and his wife Christina, are very passionate about their work in the fight to find a Cure for Cystic Fibrosis (CF). They both know that one day CF will stand for Cure Found. When he isn't at Harbor Park, he enjoys spending time with his wife, vacationing, playing softball and cheering for the Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Old Dominion Monarchs and New Orleans Saints.
Accounting/Human Resources
Amanda was born and raised in Fredericksburg, VA. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Health Administration and a minor in management in May of 2025 and has resided in Norfolk ever since.
When Amanda isn't at the stadium, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her friends, family, and her cat Cheese. She is also an avid supporter of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Communications and Marketing
Parker Brandt joined the Tides as Marketing and Communications Manager in November 2025. Prior to joining full-time, he worked with the Savannah Bananas and Old Dominion University Athletics and previously interned with the Tides during the 2023 season.
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Parker moved to Norfolk to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management at Old Dominion University. While at ODU, he served as a video coordinator assistant for the football program and gained experience through internships in gameday operations with the Norfolk Tides and baseball operations with the Savannah Bananas. Following graduation, Parker returned to ODU as a graduate assistant in sport marketing.
In his spare time, Parker enjoys disc golfing, spending time at the beach, fishing, and cheering on the Detroit Red Wings and Indianapolis Colts.

Heather McKeating began her career in baseball with the Tides in 1994 as an usher for four years, then moved into the Front Office in 1998. She held various roles from Front Desk Receptionist to Group Sales and finally landed in Community Relations. Leading the Tides Community Relations efforts, she created a reading program with all 7 cities, organized 14 youth field makeover projects, coordinates all non-baseball special events such as Breakfast with Santa, Valentine’s Day deliveries and her proudest event, Ladies Day at the Park. After a few years away, she is glad to be back home, working in community relations and merchandise! She looks forward to new challenges and continuing to grow her baseball resume.
Heather is proud to have been born and raised in Norfolk, she currently resides in Virginia Beach with her husband of 20 years Todd, 17-year-old Son Aidan, who both share her passion for sports. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family, friends and her Chocolate Lab, Roxie. She also likes to stay active and is proud to have completed two marathons.

Bobby Pickrell graduated from William & Mary in 2022 with a B.A. in Government and a minor in History. He has served in many roles with the Norfolk Tides, from usher to bat boy, as part of the game day staff since 2016. He joined the full-time staff as the Front Office Coordinator in 2023 and is currently a group sales representative starting in 2024.
As a Norfolk native, Bobby played baseball from a young age. He was a member of district champion teams at Fleet Park Little League and Maury High School.
In his free time, Bobby enjoys watching his favorite team, the Atlanta Braves, playing golf, and spending time with his family and dogs, Giorgi and Lola.

Ticket Operations/Season Ticket Sales

Sze Fong has been with the organization for over 15 years. He began his tenure at Harbor Park as an usher, then proceeded to serve as an intern in the Stadium Operations department before joining the Tides full-time as the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations. He took over as Director of Ticket Operations prior to the 2019 season. Fong is responsible for numerous ticket-related tasks, including interacting with season ticket holders and assisting with the management of the box office.
Fong attended Old Dominion University, where he majored in Sport Management. He grew up in Virginia Beach and attended Salem High School.
When he's not at Harbor Park, Fong enjoys spending time with his family, and his dog, Beast. He resides in Virginia Beach.
Field Operations
Clubhouse Management
Jack Brenner joined the Tides in 2016. Brenner has previously been a clubhouse and equipment manager for the Braves, Expos, Cardinals and Mets organizations. He's also had a brief acting career, with appearances on All My Children and a film with Mickey Rourke to his credit. Brenner also performed the national anthem at Shea Stadium prior to a game in 2005.
