Nishant enters his 3rd season in Triple-A baseball and the first with Nashville after joining the team as the Communications Assistant in February of 2026. His responsibilities consist of assisting game-day operations, game-day lineups, game notes, press releases, media credentials, and coordinating player/staff interviews with local and national media.

Brahme served as the Media Relations Intern for the Iowa Cubs during the 2025 season. He assisted their communications staff with researching baseball information, credential requests, game-day lineups, feature stories, and media interviews all while serving double-duty on game days where he handled social media and pitch clock during I-Cubs home games.

Prior to Iowa, he served as the Media and Communications Seasonal Associate with the Omaha Storm Chasers during the 2024 season. With Omaha, he assisted their communications staff with distribution of game day information in the press box and clubhouses along with coordinating player interviews and assisting with other baseball information. He was fortunate enough to be a part of Storm Chasers 2024 International League Championship as they defeated the Columbus Clippers in a three-game series.

He attended the University of Kansas from 2019-2023 and earned his bachelor's degree in Sport Managment with a minor in Journalism (Strategic Communications).

Jeff Hem continues to serve as the "Voice of the Sounds" for the 2026 season. He enters his 14th year in Music City and his 20th overall season behind the microphone.

In 2012, Hem arrived in Nashville with eight seasons and over 1,100 games of professional baseball experience under his belt. He spent the previous seven seasons with the Single-A Kane County Cougars of the Midwest League, including 2009 when the Cougars, then an A's affiliate, were managed by former Sounds skipper Steve Scarsone.

Career highlights for Hem include making his regular season Major League broadcast debut in June 2018 with the Oakland A's for a doubleheader at the Chicago White Sox, being part of the radio broadcast team for the 2018 Triple-A All-Star Game in Columbus, Ohio, and calling the inaugural game at First Horizon Park on April 17, 2015. While with the Cougars, he also enjoyed the opportunity to call two minor league games at Wrigley Field in Chicago and Busch Stadium in St. Louis.

His additional duties for the Sounds include sponsorship and corporate sales and performing public speaking engagements. In the offseason, Hem continues to call the play-by-play action for several college and high school games on television and radio.

A native of Aurora, Illinois, and a graduate of the University of Iowa, Hem began his broadcasting career while in college before completing an internship with the Battle Creek Yankees en route to gaining his position with Kane County. He and his wife, Alissa, reside in Hendersonville with their two children.
