Zebrowski's Home Run Binge Continues in 10-1 Win Over Pensacola

A first inning grand slam from Adam Zebrowski set the tone for the Columbus Clingstones (32-27, 61-62) in their breezy 10-1 win over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (37-21, 73-54) on Wednesday night at Synovus Park.
Decisive Plays: Pensacola took a brief 1-0 lead on an RBI double from Dillon Lewis in the first inning. Zebrowski punched back in a big way with a grand slam home run (18) to push Columbus to a 4-1 lead. Columbus capitalized on walks on defensive miscues from Pensacola in the fifth inning, scoring six runs in part because of a throwing error from Cristian Hernandez that scored three runs in the sequence. After Isaac Gallegos went 4.0 innings to start a bullpen game, Luis Vargas punched out the side in the ninth inning to finish off a dominant 10-1 win.
Key Contributors: Zebrowski (1-2, HR, 4 RBI) continued his incredible tear at the plate while Alex Lodise (2-for-5, 2 RBI) batted in a pair of runs. For Pensacola, Lewis (2-for-4, 2B, RBI) was the lone bright spot.
Notable: Zebrowski has homered in six-straight games at Synovus Park. Columbus sent 12 batters to the plate in the fifth inning, tying the most for a single inning in franchise history. Columbus improves to 7-1 when scoring 10 or more runs this season.
