Game 3 of Captains-Loons Series Postponed Due to Severe Weather

Tonight’s game will be made up as a seven-inning doubleheader on Friday, Sept. 4.

EASTLAKE, Ohio – Tonight’s Game 3 of this week’s series between the Lake County Captains (68-56, 31-29) and Great Lakes Loons (72-53, 36-25), originally scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 3, has been postponed due to severe weather. EASTLAKE, Ohio – Tonight’s Game 3 of this week’s series between the Lake County Captains (68-56, 31-29) and Great Lakes Loons (72-53, 36-25), originally scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 3, has been postponed due to severe weather.

The two teams will make up this contest as part of a seven-inning doubleheader on Friday, Sept. 4 at Classic Auto Group Park in Eastlake. First pitch for Game 1 is scheduled for 5 p.m., with gates scheduled to open at 4:30 p.m. Game 2 is scheduled to begin approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1. The Captains will celebrate Cleveland Sports History Night at the ballpark, featuring 10-cent beer. It will also be Nurses Appreciation Night presented by Coca-Cola.

The game will be broadcast on the Bally Sports Live App, the MiLB App, MLB+, and StreamGuys, with social media coverage courtesy of @LCCaptains on X and Instagram. For tickets, fans can visit MiLB.com/lake-county/tickets.
