Pamela De La O joined MountainStar Sports Group in September 2013 and currently serves as Vice President of Finance & Administration. She oversees financial reporting, accounting, and administrative operations across MountainStar’s portfolio, including the El Paso Chihuahuas, El Paso Locomotive FC, Leg Up Entertainment, and the MountainStar Sports Group Foundation.

In her role, De La O leads financial strategy and compliance, ensuring adherence to Major League Baseball and United Soccer League reporting standards. She also oversees information technology initiatives, supports capital expenditures for stadium and facility operations, risk management, and administrative functions. Her leadership supports the financial integrity and operational efficiency of MountainStar’s diverse and evolving business ventures.

A native of El Paso, Texas, De La O began her career in public accounting with Lauterbach, Borschow & Company and prior to, Dunbar, Broaddus, Gibson, P.C. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at El Paso in 2000 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2008.

She and her husband, Frank, have one daughter, Elena Emerald. De La O volunteers at her local church and school.

Pamela Nieto serves as the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Supervisor and Payroll Coordinator. Nieto's responsibilities include ensuring all departments are supported with their accounts receivable and accounts payable needs as well as processing their hourly employees payroll.

Nieto started with the Chihuahuas in late 2016. She previously was an Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable Processor for NCH Marketing Services where she held the position for five years.

Nieto is working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Business and minor in Accounting. She has two children, Emiliano & Julian with her spouse Luis Marcial.

Anthony Rifenburg is the 2022 Broadcast & Media Relations Assistant. Rifenburg is the Chihuahuas No. 2 broadcaster, and his media relations responsibilities include creating daily game notes, stat packs and rosters. Rifenburg also scores Chihuahuas home games for the First Pitch app and finalizes box scores, interviewing players and coaches, facilitating local media coverage and game day interviews and is in charge of the press box on game days.

Rifenburg has had plenty of experience prior to joining the Chihuahuas staff. He served as a broadcaster for his alma mater, California State University, Sacramento (Sac State) Baseball from 2015-2019. While pursuing his studies, he was the Sports Director at KSSU Radio Station, the student radio station of Sacramento State. Rifenburg also had stints as a television broadcaster for 2018 Western Athletic Conference Baseball Postseason Tournament, the Vallejo Admirals, Independent Pro Ball Organization in the Bay Area, broadcaster on ESPN Radio for Klamath Falls Gems, Collegiate Summer league team in southern Oregon, but not before his time as a Little League Baseball umpire as a kid himself.

In his spare time, he served as the head coach of Sacramento State Club Baseball Team in 2014 and 2015.

Rifenburg graduated from Sac State with a bachelor's degree in Communications with an Economics minor in 2019. He has a cat named Whisky.

Judge Jimmy Scott is an El Paso native and a member of the inaugural front office staff of the El Paso Chihuahuas. He currently serves as Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Suites, where he leads the organization’s efforts to build meaningful relationships with local, national, and international brands. In his role, Scott helps partners achieve their business objectives through strategic insight, innovative marketing, and operational collaboration while enhancing the Chihuahuas’ mission of delivering a premier, family-friendly entertainment experience.

A proud graduate of Baylor University, Scott began his career in the sports industry at his alma mater with ISP/IMG. He later returned to El Paso to join the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), where he worked in the Marketing and Promotions Department.

Scott earned degrees in Public Relations, Advertising, and Business Entrepreneurship in 2010 from Baylor University. He is married to Kameron Leigh Scott and is the proud father of his son, Judge Jimmy, and daughter, Sawyer Raye.

Valerie Brant joined the El Paso Chihuahuas in 2024 as the Corporate Partnerships Activation Specialist. In this role, Valerie manages and executes sponsorship agreements, ensuring that all promotional activities and partnerships are seamlessly implemented to benefit both the Chihuahuas organization and the El Paso community.

A graduate of St. Edward's University, Valerie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with a minor in Fitness and Conditioning in 2022. She continued her academic journey at the same institution, completing a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership in 2024. During her graduate studies, Valerie interned for St. Edward’s Athletic Department in Game Day Operations during her first year of graduate school and served as a Graduate Assistant Softball Coach during her second year.

Valerie enjoys spending time with her dog, Ellie.

Ross Rotwein is the Senior Director Strategy & Analytics. His responsibilities include business strategies, business analytics, ticket optimization and technology for the Chihuahuas, El Paso Locomotive FC, and Leg Up Entertainment.

Prior to joining the Chihuahuas in 2017, Rotwein started his career as a tax accountant intern for Lauterbach Borschow & Co. and as a tax analyst intern for Hunt Companies. With his tax and analytic backgrounds, Rotwein became the Chief Financial Officer for DaddyO's Drive Thru Inc. in 2015.

Rotwein currently serves as a board member for the Mercer Analytics and Marketing Committee.

A former member of the UTEP Golf Team, Rotwein graduated with bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2013 and followed with a master’s in tax accounting in 2014. Rotwein was once the youngest Men’s Club Champion at El Paso Country Club.

Ruben Armendariz is the Director of Ticket Operations for the El Paso Chihuahuas, El Paso Locomotive FC and all other events at Southwest University Park. Armendariz, who started with the Chihuahuas as a gameday staff member in 2014, worked his way into an internship and soon after, was retained as a full-time staff member. In his current role, he manages the day-to-day operations of the box office, manages box office flow, and ensuring ticket requests get fulfilled and each guest gets the best seats available.

A native of El Paso, Armendariz graduated from UTEP with a bachelor's degree in Business Management in 2018. A current season ticket holder for FC Juarez and avid soccer fan, Armendariz, or "Uncle Rubes" is not hard to miss at 6'4" wearing a 16 shoe. He enjoys riding motorcycles in his free time.

Recently promoted to Coordinator of Ticket Operations, Hector Marquez has been with the Chihuahuas since the 2019 season. His responsibilities include customer service, box office operations on gamedays and non-gamedays, and working with the Season Seat Member team and Group/Premium sales team to ensure a great customer experience at the box office.

Prior to joining the Chihuahuas, Marquez assisted with Arkansas Baseball Little League tournaments and interned with the Phalanx Flight Team in 2017.

Marquez is a 2017 graduate of the University of Memphis graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport & Leisure Management with a Minor in History. While at Memphis, he was a member of Memphis' Rugby team. His love for rugby continued after college, as Marquez served as the Cathedral High School rugby coach from 2018-2021, was the Vice President of the Borderland Rugby Association upon his return to El Paso.

One of the first members of the Chihuahuas staff, Primo C. Martinez serves as the Senior Director of Season Seat Sales. As senior director, Martinez oversees the Season Seat Membership team while working on building, maintaining, and creating relationships with current and potential Season Seat Members. Martinez looks to provide memorable experiences at Chihuahuas games.

Martinez played baseball at Grand View University for two seasons and coached – as a student – during his final season. He also served on Grand View’s Student Activities Council while interning with the Iowa Barnstormers, a member of the Arena Football League. He graduated with a degree in Sports Management in 2013.

Martinez resides in El Paso with his wife Taylor, son Luca, and their dogs Oakley & Miko. He enjoys attending sporting events, playing sports, golfing, concerts, shooting, relaxing, and listening to music and podcasts.

Joshua “Junior” Ybarra serves as a Senior Accountant Executive on our Season Seat Sales team and is the Inside Sales Lead. He joined the Chihuahuas in 2022 transitioning from his previous work experience as a Retail Sales Manager at Metro by T-Mobile and Assistant Manager at Whataburger. He enjoys building relationships and creating experiences for Season Seat Members and the El Paso community.

Ybarra studied at UTEP earning his BBA in Marketing with an accounting minor in 2023. While at UTEP, Ybarra studied under the Chihuahuas Inside Sales Program.

Ybarra resides in El Paso with his family and their two dogs, Lola and Walley. When he is not at the ballpark, he enjoys serving as a member of the San Martin de Porras Ministry and the Knights of Columbus.

Daniel Press is an Accountant Executive with our Season Seat Sales team. Joining the team in 2021 as a Ticket Sales Trainee, Press became full-time in 2022. Press’s responsibilities include maintaining and building lasting relationships with current Season Seat Members and creating new relationships with new and potential members.

Press received his degree in Sports Management and minor in Business Communication from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 2021. His favorite baseball moment is being a two-time state champion in high school. He previously interned with the Danbury Titans hockey team and was a sales associate at his family’s pool supply store.

Press enjoys scuba diving, skiing, and cheering on his hometown New York Knicks, Mets, and Jets.

A native of Muskegon, Mich., Aric Stewart is new to El Paso, entering his first season with the Chihuahuas as a Season Ticket Sales Trainee. The position entails outreach to residents and businesses in finding Season Seat Memberships to fit the needs of a potential client while providing service to members, both current and new throughout the season.

Stewart graduated from Central Michigan University in 2023, with a major in Sports Management and an Athletic Coaching minor. The Chihuahuas are his first opportunity to work in professional baseball. Before making the move to El Paso, he worked in athletic facilities sales & recreation event management where he sold memberships and acted as an administrative presence for youth and adult leagues and tournaments. He also spent three years coaching high school basketball in southeast Michigan.

Stewart is accompanied in El Paso by his cat, Azula, and spends his free time watching sports and playing golf.

Brittany Ramos serves as Senior Director of Group Sales for the El Paso Chihuahuas. Approaching her 12th season with the organization, Ramos began her career with the Chihuahuas as an Account Executive and has continued to advance through a series of promotions. In her current role, she leads a team of account executives in developing and executing group outings that create memorable experiences for Chihuahuas fans.

Before joining the Chihuahuas, Ramos gained experience in the sports industry as a Stadium Operations intern with the Iowa Cubs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, in 2014. She later served as a Ticket Sales intern with the Orange Bowl.

Ramos was a four-year scholarship student-athlete at Iowa State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing in 2014. During her time in El Paso, she met her husband, El Paso native Anthony Ramos. They share a dog named Chance.

In her 11th season with the El Paso Chihuahuas, Janine Seckerson serves as Manager of Group Sales and Inside Sales. She is responsible for building relationships and creating memorable experiences for companies, sports teams, families, and groups of friends.

Since the 2021 season, Seckerson has overseen the Inside Sales program, which provides college students with hands-on experience in sports sales and an opportunity to determine whether they would like to pursue a career in the industry. Under her leadership, the program has also created a pathway for participants to earn full-time positions within the organization.

Seckerson joined the Chihuahuas as an intern in 2016. Following a successful internship, she was hired as a full-time Account Executive and has since earned a series of promotions within the organization.

Before joining the Chihuahuas, Seckerson interned with the Marketing and Promotions Department for UTEP Athletics.

A member of the United Way of El Paso County’s Young Leaders Society, Seckerson graduated from UTEP in 2015 with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Criminal Justice and a minor in Communication. She is married to Nick Seckerson.

Austin Weber is in his 10th season with the El Paso Chihuahuas and his 12th season in Minor League Baseball. He was recently promoted to Manager of Ticket Services after previously serving as Senior Account Executive for Group Sales. In his current role, Weber oversees ticket service operations while continuing to help create memorable experiences for companies, nonprofit organizations, youth teams, and Chihuahuas fans.

Before joining the Chihuahuas, Weber worked as an Account Executive with the Pawtucket Red Sox, formerly the Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

Weber graduated from Nichols College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in Sport Management.

Angela Olivas is in her 13th year, currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the El Paso Chihuahuas and El Paso Locomotive FC. She oversees the organization's Public Relations, Marketing (including Social Media), Advertising, Promotions & Community Relations (including Mascot) efforts.

Under her leadership, the Chihuahuas have become a fan favorite while quickly establishing themselves as a cutting-edge organization and model for success in Minor League Baseball (MiLB). Under her leadership, the Chihuahuas achieved and sustained the largest social media following among all 120 Minor League Baseball teams. She has spearheaded award-winning promotions recognized by Minor League Baseball’s Golden Bobblehead Awards and continues to drive fan engagement through innovative storytelling and cross-platform content strategies.

A respected voice in sports communications, Olivas currently serves as Vice President of Marketing & Communications on the Amigo Airsho Board of Directors, guiding media and public relations efforts for one of the region's highest-profile events. She also serves on the El Paso Community College Travel & Tourism Advisory Board, helping develop educational curriculum in the travel and tourism field. She has been selected for the MiLB BREAKTHRU Leadership Program, is a Major League Baseball Women in Baseball Mentor, served on Major League Baseball’s DEI Committee, and continues to contribute to the MiLB Digital Services Working Group. Her professional impact has been recognized by Major League Baseball, which honored her as an emerging Latina leader in the industry.

Prior to her tenure with MountainStar Sports Group, Olivas spent over a decade with the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) as Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications, where she directed all media relations and public information for 16 NCAA Division I programs. She served as the primary spokesperson for UTEP Football, managed press operations for multiple Conference USA Championships, and helped shape the department’s overall communications strategy as a senior staff member. Olivas also pioneered the university’s first integrated athletics social media plan – laying the groundwork for modern digital engagement in collegiate athletics.

In addition to her executive leadership, Olivas serves as a guest lecturer for the Woody L. Hunt School of Business at UTEP, sharing her expertise in marketing strategy, brand management, and organizational communications. She is also a member of several community and professional organizations, including the MountainStar Sports Group Foundation and the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl Host Committee.

A proud El Paso native, Olivas earned her Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Organizational Communication and Marketing from the University of Texas at El Paso.

If you need a life-size poster of Dave Matthews, Ilene Serna is your girl! The creator of sexy, the illustrator of characters, the coordinator of design, this girl's nails alone leave you no question why she was hired as the Creative Services Coordinator for the El Paso Chihuahuas.

While Serna’s background is a pioneer of carefully constructed medal signs atop the towers of steel and concrete that encompass a city’s center, she is no stranger to the diamond. She assisted in the development of videoboard graphics prior to the Chihuahuas inaugural campaign, making her the perfect fit to continue her project after a 4-year hiatus.

Serna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Tucson (that sounds cool doesn’t it). While at that cool school in the blistering Arizona heat, Serna founded the Blackout Charity Gallery Shows, allowing local artists to showcase their twisted neon minds lit up under the dark glows of black lighting, all for the good of local charities. Serna is a published illustrator from the children’s book series “Meet Clarabelle Blue” but that is definitely not her claim to fame. Rather, she has been officially published in the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Official Fan Book. It is her love for Anthony Kiedis Flea that her passion crazed her into naming her dog after the bassist. To the dog, it’s all “Water Under the Bridge.”

Parker Landreth joined the El Paso Chihuahuas team in late 2024 as the In-Game Entertainment and Promotions Supervisor. In this role, Parker brings a passion for creating unforgettable fan experiences by developing engaging promotions, writing detailed game-day scripts, organizing exciting in-game skits and activations, and coordinating promotional giveaways. Parker is also instrumental in driving community excitement, ensuring fans of all ages have a memorable time at the ballpark.

A proud graduate of The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!), Parker earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with a minor in Psychology, graduating in December 2022. During his time at Alabama, Parker honed their skills in storytelling, event coordination, and fan engagement—skills they now bring to the forefront in their work with the Chihuahuas.

Before joining the Chihuahuas, Parker gained valuable experience in baseball and sports entertainment. He spent a year with the Rocket City Trash Pandas and two years with the Birmingham Barons, serving as their Game Day Entertainment Coordinator. Outside of baseball, Parker expanded his expertise by working as a Media Assistant for NASCAR at Talladega and completing an internship with the Loyola Project, showcasing his ability to adapt and excel across various sports and entertainment platforms.

With a dynamic background and a deep enthusiasm for sports entertainment, Parker is dedicated to ensuring every Chihuahuas game is filled with energy, excitement, and unforgettable moments for fans.

Tim Hagerty broadcasts all 150 Chihuahuas games on 600 ESPN El Paso and has been with the team since the inaugural 2014 season. He’s broadcasted in professional baseball since 2004 and previously called games for the Padres’ Triple-A affiliate in Tucson and Portland, as well as for lower-level teams in Idaho Falls, Idaho and Mobile, Ala.

Hagerty graduated from Vermont State University and was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame in 2023. He’s the author of two baseball books and lives in El Paso with his wife and son.

Antonio "Tony" Tafoya is entering his 12th season with the Chihuahuas serving on the grounds crew until his promotion to Head Groundskeeper in 2023.

Tafoya previously worked for Round Rock Express, NFL, the Rodeo, and at a golf course. He taught at Loretto Academy where he is the current junior varsity girls basketball coach.

Tafoya graduated from Centenary College where he was a four-year letterwinner. He is married to Shirley and has four boys - Aaron, Tyler, Kevin, and Jason - and two dogs.

Michael Raymundo, the Senior Director of Stadium Operations & Facilities, is in his 13th season with the Chihuahuas. Raymundo, who started with the Chihuahuas as a volunteer in 2013, oversees the day-to-day operations of Southwest University Park, including but not limited to daily housekeeping, event cleaning, post-game cleaning, and repair and maintenance of Southwest University Park. He also oversees the capital improvements at the ballpark and assists with the ballpark's special events.

Raymundo came to the Chihuahuas having served in the United States Marine Corps from 2008 to 2012. Stationed in Yuma, Ariz., he was assigned to the Marine Corps Air Station Commander’s Headquarters Squadron. During his enlistment, he served as the non-commissioned officer for the Base Postal Facility and as an Assistant Disbursing Officer for all Defense Travel Systems, and was hand-selected by the Base Commander and Sergeant Major as the Vice President for the Single Marine Program, overseeing the morale and well-being of more than 3,000 Marines.

Raymundo completed his active duty service obligation and was Honorably Discharged in 2016. He was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his accomplishments during his enlistment.

Following his discharge from the Marine Corps, Raymundo graduated with a Bachelor of Business with a concentration in Marketing in 2015 and a minor in Criminal Justice, and has a master's degree in Construction Management.

David Apodaca is the Manager of Retail and Merchandise Operations. His responsibilities include sourcing products, hiring and training retail staff, store management, visual merchandising and displays, inventory management, customer engagement, and establishing service standards.

New to the organization, Apodaca started with the Chihuahuas in 2021 after having spent more than 25 years in the retail landscape.

Apodaca is a native of El Paso. He and his wife, Monica, have a son, Chris, and three dogs - Brees, Foxy, and Cita.
