Team Management

Finances

Kim joined our front office staff in 2019 as our Bookkeeper. She’s in charge of bookkeeping, payroll, and Human Resource aspects of the Hot Rods. This is Kim’s first professional sports rodeo, but she brings her Sports Management degree and has other sports work experience. Kim just recently moved here from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with her husband, Brian, and son, Cooper. They also have two daughters–Taylor and Selina that live in Michigan. In her free time she loves traveling, usually to watch her kids play sports. Her favorite sports teams are the Michigan State Spartans, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Lions.

Bat Dog

Turbo joined the Hot Rods in December of 2019 as the official bat dog for the team. Turbo signed his first NIL deal this offseason with Feeders Pet Supply. His duties include fetching the bat after the Hot Rods hit, greeting fans and being cute. He enjoys spending time posting on his Twitter, TikTok and Instagram (@HotRodsTurbo), playing in the Splash Pad, eating all the leftover popcorn, and running around Bowling Green Ballpark with his coworkers.

Sales

Cooper is going into his second season with the Hot Rods. Cooper is originally from Maui, Hawaii. He went on to attend Arizona State University and earn his degree in Sports Business. During his time, at Arizona State, Cooper was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and volunteered with the Arizona Coyotes and the NASCAR Cup Series in Phoenix.

In his spare time, Cooper enjoys playing golf, attending sports matches, and being outdoors. His rooting interests are the Los Angeles Lakers, UConn Huskies, Arizona State Sun Devils, Los Angeles Dodgers, and the San Francisco 49ers.

Creative Services/Marketing/Media Relations

Blake Forshee began his career with the Bowling Green Hot Rods while still in high school, working linescore and music operations. He later interned with the organization as a General Intern in 2017 and as the Video Production Intern in 2019. After graduating from Western Kentucky University in 2019, Blake joined the Hot Rods full-time as Video Production Manager.

In 2022, Blake accepted a position as the Director of Digital Media for Lipscomb University Athletics, where he oversaw all video, photography, and graphic design efforts across 12 athletic programs. He also developed and executed social media campaigns that elevated the Bisons’ digital presence on a national stage. His work was featured by Good Morning America, NBC Nightly News, FOX Sports, Major League Soccer, Under Armour, NCAA, MiLB, and more. During his time at Lipscomb, Blake had the opportunity to cover multiple NCAA Tournament appearances, including Men’s Soccer (2022, 2023), Baseball (2023), Women’s Soccer (2024), and Men’s Basketball (2024).

Blake returned to the Hot Rods in September 2025 to lead the organization’s Creative Department, overseeing graphic design, video production, marketing, community engagement, and social media. He’s excited to continue amplifying the Hot Rods brand and creating engaging experiences for fans.

Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, watching sports, and playing video games. His favorite teams include the Cincinnati Reds, Tennessee Titans, Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, and now the Lipscomb Bisons.

Sarah has grown up in Bowling Green, Kentucky for most of her childhood, graduated from South Warren High School, and is a 2023 WKU alumni, graduating with a Bachelor of Visual Arts, a Graphic Design concentration, and a minor in Computer Animation. Prior to joining the Hot Rods, she was a Senior Multimedia Creative with WKU’s on-campus advertising agency, Imagewest, learning and providing creative development services to local and regional businesses for over 2 years. She is heading into her second season with the Hot Rods, and she is over the moon to start her design career with the team that is at the heart of many of her childhood summers.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends, lounging with her dogs while playing video games or binge watching, and expanding her plant collection AKA her ever-growing personal jungle.

After spending the 2021 season with the Hot Rods as an intern, Riley returns to Bowling Green for his first season as the Broadcast and Media Relations Manager. As a native of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, Riley stayed in his hometown for college, earning his degree in Broadcasting and Cinematic Arts from Central Michigan University. This has led him to work at many different levels of baseball, including collegiate summer wood-bat leagues, NCAA and MiLB.

During the season, Riley will handle the radio broadcast, media availabilities, and media materials for the Hot Rods. This includes home and road broadcasts, conducting and scheduling interviews, along with daily game notes. In the offseason, Riley gives back and connects with the Bowling Green community as our Community Relations Manager.

As a Michigander, his favorite sports teams are the Detroit Tigers, Lions, and Pistons. This shows his loyalty while sticking with his teams through hard times. Outside of sports, Riley enjoys music, video games, and watching many, many movies.

Mills is originally from Russell Springs located in South Central Kentucky and graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2025 with a degree in Integrated Strategic Communication. Having spent much of her childhood at the ballpark, she later began assisting with her high school baseball team’s social media, which sparked her interest in combining sports and digital marketing. Prior to joining the Hot Rods, Mills gained experience through roles with UK Athletics’ Team Wildcat student organization and Turfway Park Racing & Gaming. She is excited to begin her first season with the Hot Rods and looks forward to contributing to the fan experience both in the ballpark and online.

In her free time, Mills enjoys spending days on Lake Cumberland, finding new sourdough recipes to bake, and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats.

Camryn is originally from Concord, North Carolina, where she grew up playing softball and fell in love with sports at an early age. She attended Belmont University, where she studied Marketing and Sport Administration, and was heavily involved in the university’s athletic department. During her time at Belmont, Camryn gained hands-on experience through marketing and media internships with Belmont University Athletics and Special Olympics Tennessee, building a strong foundation in marketing, promotions, and fan engagement.

In her first season with the Hot Rods, she is excited to utilize her background to create memorable, high energy experiences for fans at the ballpark. Camryn is known for her high spirited and passionate support of her favorite teams, including the Carolina Panthers, Carolina Tar Heels, and Belmont Bruins.

Operations

Jacob grew up in Cedar Hill, Tennessee. He graduated from Jo Byrns High school in 2019 and then WKU in 2023. Jacob is heading into his third season with the Hot Rods. He spent his first season as a stadium ops intern and was brought back as a Stadium Operations Manager.

In Jacob’s free time, he enjoys playing tons of golf and imagining that he’s actually getting better each time he play. As well as rooting on the Pittsburgh Steelers every Sunday come Fall.

James Thole is from Northern Kentucky just outside of Cincinnati. James graduated from Villa Madonna Academy in 2020 and then from WKU in 2024. He is going into his first full season as a Hot Rod, after completing his internship here. Since then, James has climbed the Stadium Ops ladder and was hired full time as a Stadium Operations Manager.

For fun, James likes to go golfing, play basketball, and spend time with friends. During football season he cheers on The Cincinnati Bengals and Michigan Wolverines.

Vette City Catering

Mark Ewing is an Executive with 20+ years of experience in the Culinary Arts field. He started his career at WKU in the bakery, he also helped the Executive Chef with catering and creating new food options. Since then, he has worked his way up and became the Executive Chef in numerous kitchens and taught Culinary Arts at South Central Community and Technical Collage.

In my current role at Vette City Catering, I am in charge of operating Performance Foodservice Club kitchen and preparing dishes for parties, weddings and special events. My expertise includes technical skills, communication skills, teamwork, menu development, multitasking, and attention to detail.

I have an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts along with certificates in Catering, Culinary Arts Professional Development, Advanced Food and Beverage Management, Fundamentals of Culinary Arts, and Food and Beverage Management. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family, fishing, playing golf and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and Duke Blue Devils.
